Enthusiastic and energetic Head Librarian, Elsa Ngan, of the local library in Yorkville will visit our club on May 23/13 to update members on Your Library in the 21st Century.

If you still think the local library is place for old books and silence, you need to need to meet Elsa and hear her talk about all the new resources and programs at our local library. Elsa will also highlight some of the events that are regularly scheduled for the Toronto Reference Library, located a few steps from the Yorkville Library.

Speaker's Bio:
Elsa Ngan is presently the Branch Head at Yorkville Branch, Toronto Public Library, a position she has held for two years. Previously, she worked as the Youth Services Specialist at North York Central Branch for four years. She has worked at various locations throughout the Toronto Public Library system, including the Bookmobile.

In her spare time, she likes to read historical fiction and mysteries. In addition, she is a big manga/graphic novel fan.
