A group of 20 Forest Hill Rotarians had the privilege of touring the Center for Applied Genomics at Sick Kids Hospital today. The tour was lead by a member of Nobel Prize winner Stephen Scherer's team. Rotarians were also excited to learn about DNA extraction, and had the chance to do so as well. Each member took home a vile of DNA which was extracted from a strawberry. We thank fellow Rotarian, Diane Moore, for setting up this fun and educational trip!
