The Ping Pong table initiative, led by Rotarian Dianne Moore, has been incredibly successful.  So far, 7 tables have been installed!

Outdoor Concrete Ping Pong Tables:

These ping pong tables provide opportunities for community members and youth to have some fun outdoors, and they are beautiful "outdoor art" additions to local parks.  We are very proud of our own "Rotary Club of Toronto-Forest Hill ping pong table" that was installed at the University of Toronto, St. Michael's Campus.  It is clear from the missing grass that the table is getting great use!

Below is a list of the locations of the outdoor concrete Ping Pong tables FYI,

Ritchie Parkette

Stanley Park North

Stanley Park South

Mel Lastman Square

University of Toronto – St. Mike’s Campus – Forest Hill Rotary table

Tall Pines, Scarborough

June Rowlands Park

Members of our club are encouraged to pick up paddles and balls for kids to use and leave them on the table  at one of the locations near you.  Paddle and ball sets can be purchased at Canadian tire (4 paddles and 6 balls for $20.00).

More installations are planned in the future - perhaps even in Vancouver where there has been great interest expressed in this project!
