Charity Garden Party for Support Our Kids

A Charity Garden Party was held at the beautiful lakeside home of James Matsumoto and Chako Setoyama on July 5.  This event was held to raise funds in support of 10 Japanese students who will be arriving in Toronto on  August 7 from the Tohoku Region of Japan.  These students will spend about 2 weeks in Ontario.

 

This initiative, Support Our Kids, is designed to assist children affected by the tsunami in developing resiliency and leadership skills.They will have an amazing experience in Canada that will inspire them to assist in the restoration of their home communities.

 

More than 100 people attended the event and significant funds were raised in support of the students!
