Kelvin Browne is the Executive Director and CEO of the Gardiner Museum in Toronto. Prior to this he held several positions at the Royal Ontario Museum inlcuidng Managing Director of the Institute of Contemporary Culture and Vice President of Marketing and Major Exhibitions. Kelvin is well known as a magazine as newspaper columnist about design, and wrote the book Bold Visions, about the architecture of the ROM. 
 
He has an M. Arch from the University of Toronto. He was born in Penticton, B.C. and graduated from St. John's-Ravenscourt School in Winnnipeg before attending university.
