When there are opportunities to help children of the world, especially children in less fortunate places, Rotarians will respond enthusiastically.
This time through connections from President Elect Dave Champagne, members from Rotary Club of Toronto-Forest Hill acted quickly to donate funds allowing the stocking of 50 backpacks with stationeries, toys, face masks and sanitizers. The bags are then handed over to Dr. Pierre of Haiti Embassy to be shipped to the children of Haiti. This project received wide support from members present and past while purchasing, packing and stockings were done mostly by Rotarian Milo Vassallo and his wife Rita. A job well done!
